Got up at 430 today. Yuck! Walked to the train station and trained it to the airport. We flew with Aegean air to Rome. We had an hour and a half in Rome so had a quick look around and walked to the hotel we will be staying at there and picked up the package dad left for us yesterday. The bus from the airport drove past the colosseum - cant wait to go back and explore! Dad and Adam are now home! That went quickly!!
We caught a train from Rome to Naples. Here we met another stalker. Took our bags the second we got off the train and showed us where the train to sorrento was. But then wanted 10 euro. We said no and walked off. Lots of gypsies around too. Naples seems a bit dodgy, glad we aren't staying there, just a quick stop on the way back to Rome.
We got a train from Naples to sorrento. Saw mt Vesuvius! Have now arrived safe in sorrento. Are staying in a good hotel right near the main street. Had a great dinner of pizza and pasta and enjoyed a gelati afterwards. Almost lucky I got glandular and lost 5kg because otherwise idk if I'd fit on the plane on the way home otherwise hahaha. Nah not too bad, all the walking and cold weather evens it out!
Off to bed now, so tired! Pompeii tomorrow!
