Hampton Court
Helloooo,
Yesterday we did Madame Tussaud's, got my photo with some celebrities! Then we did the London Eye. The weather was alright, grey but fairly clear. We also went to King's Cross station, I wanted to see platform 9 and 3/4. But the trolley half way through the wall was under renovation! I saw the platform though, so alright.
Then we went to see 'Chicago' at the Cambridge Theatre at 8pm. It was brilliant! We loved it.
Today we went to Hampton Court, I really loved learning about King Henry VIII's desperation to have a son that led him to divorce and behead so many of his wives. Then we tried to go to the Zoo but were too late as we spent 4.5 hours enjoying Hampton Court! The audioguide was fantastic. Instead we walked about the Regent's Park, and looked at Lord's.
Tomorrow we are doing the Tower Bridge area, then probably seeing Les Mis at night!
Then off to Amsterdam!
Love to you all,

London, England
Hello from London!
Our flight today was great, travelling with British Airways was much better than my recent Lufthansa experiences!
We didn't get all that much done today as we arrived at about 2pm and got to our hotel about 3pm. It gets dark at about 4.30pm. But we walked the local area (we are staying in Earl's Court) and saw the Brompton Oratory which was nice Church, and then explored Harrod's for an hour or so. We loved looking at all the toys, pet accessories and overpriced Harrod's souvenirs! I bought some cheaper souvenirs at a gift shop next door!
We have found this internet Cafe 20m away from our hotel, which is great because the hotel internet is very expensive like Venice!
We had dinner at an English pub - fish and chips with mushy pea sauce and tartare sauce. Yum!
Hope everyone is well,

Vienna, Austria
Hello everyone!
Since last time we went to the Budapest History Museum which was incredibly interesting! We went up the hill on the Funicular and then back down again to join a walking tour. The guide was fantastic and a very small group so we learnt a lot! Then we did a cruise of the Danube which was beautiful but very cold!!
Today we travelled to Vienna by train, no delays or cancellations which is always good. Its very beautiful here and we got to do a lot as we caught the 6am train (VERY early start today haha!) so we arrived around 9am. We went to Schoenbrunn Palace and did an audiotour which was great. Then we went to Belvedere Gardens and onto Karlskirche. There was a lift inside this church and then some stairs, we got to climb up 90m high inside the church to view the roof and its paintings. A very different experience but even though Im not afraid of heights it was scary!!!
We finished up at the Prater Park and to our dismay the Riesen Rad (Ferris Wheel) is closed for 2 weeks!! But never mind, cant be helped.
Hope you are all well!!

Budapest, Hungary
Hiya!
Today our train went smoothly to Budapest. Our hostel here is fantastic! In a beautiful old building that used to be a palace, free wifi that actually works so I can update on here easily! We have a supermarket next door and kitchen facilities around the corner from our room.
We couldn't do too much here today because we only had 2.5 hours of daylight after the 7 hour train ride. We did see buda castle, matthias church and fishermans bastion - all very beautiful!!
We love it here - a very happening city yet mysterious because we didn't know all that much about it before coming here!

Kutna Hora
Hey all!!
Since last time we spent a day seeing the Prague Castle district, we also went to Strahov Monastery and Wallenstein Palace but unfortunately it was closed for the Winter!!! We strolled across Charles Bridge and have bought some nice souvenirs.
Today we went to the small town of Kutna Hora, about 1.5 hours out of Prague. It is famous for its Kostnice Ossuary (aka Bone Church) which is made up of the bones of 40000 people. Was sort of creepy but at the same time fascinating, the chandelier in the centre of the room had every single human bone in it, even the jaw. Was definitely a different experience to anything at home! We then explored the centre of the town and it was so beautiful and peaceful.
We leave for Hungary tomorrow and hopefully everything goes to plan with our train.
Miss you all,
Love Claire! xox

Hey all!
Today we did a bus tour down south. The mountains were amazing! We then went to schloss Linderhof which was gorgeous. Then visited a little village called oberammagau where I bought some very nice souvenirs! Last but not least we went to schloss Neuschwanstein. I'm really enjoying my time here in Bayern, but also cant wait to see mum! Her plane leaves at 8am my time tomorrow (Aka 6pm Melbourne time on the 5th of January). Should be great!!

Munich, germany
Hi everyone!
We are now in Munich. NYE was a bit scary in Paris but after a 1.5 hour walk home my navigational skills got us back to our hotel!
On Saturday nothing was open, but we did a walking tour of the Latin quarter. It was pretty boring but there was nothing else to do! We went out for dinner in Montmartre and then went up the tower. It was lucky it was so clear on Thursday because there was no view on Saturday - it was all fog!
We left for Munich today and for the first time ever all our trains were on time! We even arrived half an he early! The hotel is great. It's called wombats and it's pretty much all Aussies staying here. Our room is huge and the facilities are great - free Internet on my phone!
I'll post again after we've been here a few days, but even after the few hours we have been here we are liking it so much more than Berlin!
Love to you all and happy 2011!!
