Hello everyone!
Since last time we went to the Budapest History Museum which was incredibly interesting! We went up the hill on the Funicular and then back down again to join a walking tour. The guide was fantastic and a very small group so we learnt a lot! Then we did a cruise of the Danube which was beautiful but very cold!!
Today we travelled to Vienna by train, no delays or cancellations which is always good. Its very beautiful here and we got to do a lot as we caught the 6am train (VERY early start today haha!) so we arrived around 9am. We went to Schoenbrunn Palace and did an audiotour which was great. Then we went to Belvedere Gardens and onto Karlskirche. There was a lift inside this church and then some stairs, we got to climb up 90m high inside the church to view the roof and its paintings. A very different experience but even though Im not afraid of heights it was scary!!!
We finished up at the Prater Park and to our dismay the Riesen Rad (Ferris Wheel) is closed for 2 weeks!! But never mind, cant be helped.
Hope you are all well!!
Love to everyone, Claire xoxox
