Hello everyone!
Had a chilled out night last night. Got so much done and even snuck in time to have a nap! Lovely :) All set for Brendon arriving tmro now after doing some washing, cleaning etc.
This morning I set off to school. Not too much to say today. Funny parts included a year 2 girl asking why I wear the same shoes every day and me having to explain that I couldn't bring much with me from Australia. All the kids looked so confused haha. Then another girl said "that's mean, she always looks nice. Your hair looks lovely!" Thanks girls, it looks the same as every other day too ;)
I had a fantastic session with a different year 1 class in the afternoon. They all worked SO well! Best lesson I've had I reckon. Superstars. Fantastic work and lovely kids. I took them my very first lesson at the school about 5 weeks ago and they remembered me!! We made posters about plants. Without prompting them I had kids writing that trees give us oxygen and drawing me plants (even weird ones like Venus fly traps!). And they're only 6!
I got everything set up for tmro and had a chat with Brendon who's now at the airport - how exciting!! Can't wait to see him tmro after nearly six months.
Now I'm on my way home and later tonight and heading back towards school for Bogan Bingo. Basically over the top Australianisms and bingo. I'm wearing my pies jumper!! Will let you know what it was like tmro.
