Another school day

Hello all!

Last night Kahn and I had pasta for dinner. I made tomato based sauce with ham, mushroom, broccoli and zucchini. It was yummmm!

We then did something I hadn't yet had time to do - went for a walk and explored the local area! It was a bit rainy but we pushed on. Walked through Shoreditch park, past the local gym (which I've decided I can't afford!) and then just around the streets in a big circuit. We got an ice cream and it was just nice having time to relax and enjoy the local area! Pretty cool being able to see the Gherkin, the Shard and the Cheese Grater by not walking far at all. 

Today I said bye to Kahn (he left while I was at work) and headed to school. Had another good day, today in kingfishers. The day started off well when Vicki came in and asked if I can work two full weeks there beginning June 15. Yay! Now only three weeks of term left to find work for and I'm set. 

Had PE first which I was super nervous about but went really well! Played games with hoops and beanbags and the kids loved them. The rest of the day they were pretty rowdy and I had to get a bit cross but that's ok!

This afternoon I treated myself and had a haircut. It was about 5 times more than I pay Sue at home but I figured after 22 years of essentially free haircuts it was time to lash out. Need to look nice for the races and my hair was gross! Layers had grown out and the ends were disgusting. Feeling much better now!! Except she's cut my side fringe thing a bit short and it's driving me nuts already. Never mind!

Tonight I'm having leftovers from last night (yay - 2 minutes preparation time!!) and chilling out.
