Imaginary teachers

Hey everyone!

Back at high school today, and it went pretty well.

I felt super lazy in the morning as I turned up to period 1, only to find out I had incorrectly been allocated a year 11 history class who were on a camp! So I got period 1 off. Period 2 I had 7 students who I had to supervise, then period 3 was my lunch.

Periods 4 and 6 I had history with classes I had taught at this school previously. On one occasion a boy was being very rude and back chatting me. I said if he did it again I would get another teacher. Poking my head outside I saw no teachers, so I improvised. I stood in the corridor with my foot opening the door open, called out to a non existent teacher and had a conversation with myself for a minute about how if this kid did one more thing I would send him to "this teacher". He believed I was actually talking to someone and worked flawlessly for the remainder of the lesson - brill!!!

Period 5 I had a year 9 class that were so loud, it was horrendous. And period 6 went quite well.

Tonight I'm chilling at home. I watched 'The Flash' and am getting stuff done. I wanted to go to the park but it rained so I couldn't. Still have a bad cough two weeks on and a blocked nose, so that's taking my energy and I'm hoping to have an early night.

Back to year 4 for the next two days and then I'm off to Liverpool for the weekend :)

Love to all

PS: It is well and truly Autumn now! Here's a picture outside our block of flats - leaves everywhere!
