Sofa bed free!

Hello everyone!

Didn't get to register with the doctor because you need a proof of address and I don't have one yet because I haven't received a bank statement. Ridiculous but oh well...

Managed to dismantle the sofa bed thanks to the pliers I borrowed. Took a little while but Cecilie kindly helped me and it didn't take too long as a result. My room looks huge now! So much more space for things (like hanging washing - exciting times!). It now is properly starting to feel like a room in a home. 

We were all (5 of us) home last night which apparently is very rare so we had a big clean out in the bathroom and kitchen and discovered lots of things in the house belonged to previous housemates and none of us! We discovered many horrid things in the bathroom which I won't go into detail about - but they're all gone now!!

My housemates are all really nice so I'm happy! Mark is from Ireland, Kelly from Melbourne, Kate from New Zealand and Cecilie from Denmark. 

Went to bed fairly early and slept so well. And great to be able to get out of bed properly and not have to climb over a sofa bed !!!!

Another pretty good day today.  Floated between the two classes today and to be honest there isn't too much to say! Everything went fairly well. Alisha told me I'm the best supply teacher she's ever had which is a huuuuuge confidence boost and it's fantastic to know I'm doing a good job. Sad to have it be my last day there tomorrow but who knows, maybe I'll be back next term. I mentioned it to some of the kids today and all asked "but why miss?!?" which was nice too.

This afternoon I got off the train at Angel and went to a $2 (pound) shop that Kate told me about. I got all the little bits and pieces I needed fairly cheap including a clothes horse, a light globe and a new scrapbook. I now have a working lamp!

On the way back I walked via Regent's Canal. It was sunny and lovely, so pretty! London is full of surprises. So cool being so close to all these interesting/lovely places. 

Tonight I'm doing some washing and packing for Iceland which is coming up so quick!!!
