Hi everyone!
No pictures today, I was a Londoner instead of a tourist!
Had a bit of a lie in this morning before Brendon tried to help me fix my laptop but to no avail. Going to have to take it to get fixed, oh well.
Did some planning for my teaching interview tomorrow and then headed to Islington to pick up my second case from Rhi's that I left there in March. Can't believe how quickly that went!!
It was a lovely sunny day today so I quite enjoyed my 20 minute walk from Ann's to the station and then the next 20 minute walk from Angel station to Rhi's. I got some things out of my case, put some things I no longer need in it and then luckily was able to walk the 15 minutes to the flat I'll be moving to and store it there so that when I move in May 15 it's one less thing to worry about! I looked very funny walking down the street with a suitcase and lamp in hand (scored a free lamp from Rhi's housemate)!! I also got to meet another of the flat mates and she seems nice too!
It was good approaching the flat from Rhi's because I saw a different part of the surrounding area. Shoreditch Park is very close by and is quite big. Due to the sun making an appearance there were a million shirtless/scantily clad people there soaking up every second of it!!! There are also some shops down the road including a Tesco's supermarket.
This afternoon I headed back to Ann's to get some more planning done for teaching (I'm a bit rusty, been 8 months since I've written a lesson plan). I seem to have everything organised I possibly can. My laptop not working is a bummer but this year is all about learning to deal with things and not stress, so I'm not stressing. No point, it won't change anything! I'm a little nervous about the interview and I'm sure in the morning I will be even more so but I just have to try and not be I guess! Just do what I did on placement last year and I'll be ok.
Found a laptop shop on my way back from the station so I might drop it in there later this week!
Tonight having an early night to prepare for tomorrow. My interview will be at about 7pm Melbourne time. Wish me luck!!
