Hello!
So the overnight bus was really uncomfortable but somehow I managed about 6-7 hours of sleep. Woke up and my back and neck were agony though! But we had a few drinks, played music and made the best of it :)
We arrived about 7am in the Nha Trang. This wasn't planned the best because only a few of us could access our rooms to freshen up, so we all had to share for a while. Our room was ready, and we shared with Leah and Nina for a bit. The four of us went to the beach and had a bit of a sleep, I went in the water a bit but only to my knees. The scenery itself was beautiful overall, almost a mixture between Surfer's Paradise and Rio de Janeiro. But the waves kept washing up a lot of rubbish, I saw shorts, plates etc. Yuck!
Leah and I had a foot massage/scrub on the way back and then we had a rest before going out with everyone else. All but Nathan and Abi went to the Thap Ba Mud Baths. We all had a 20 minute mud bath and a thermal bath as well. It felt very strange tipping mud all over myself!!! But my skin feels great. Then we had a dip in the pool, and Laura, Nina, Natalie and myself had a full body massage. I was expecting it to be painful and wished if learned how to say "I have scoliosis" in Vietnamese but the lady couldn't understand. She wasn't too rough on me though so I was ok!!! It was really relaxing and just what I needed after the overnight bus.
Tonight we went to the local sailing club for dinner. I had a sangria, spaghetti carbonara and a chocolate brownie for dessert. I was really craving some cheese!! On the way back to the hotel I've started to feel quite unwell again, I'm very over the intermittent stomach aches. Going to try and sleep now hopefully it calms down.
Love to all
Claire and Laura
