So this morning I was still feeling pretty disgusting but I had some medication and made it through the day.
All of us but Nathan, Abi, Tom, Jo and Emma went on a boat day trip to the islands. We stopped at four different islands and sun baked, jumped off the roof of the boat into the water, floated on rings in the water while having a drink and went to an aquarium! We enjoyed a nice lunch and had a singalong for each country. They did 'Land Down Under' for Australia, Laura and I sang along very loudly! Especially the vegemite sandwich part.
At the start we thought the day would be terrible because there was no shoreline to lie on or swim, but the top of the boat had spots for us to lie down so that was fine. At one island you had to pay to enter so we stayed on the boat. The beach was all rocky, after having been to the Whitsundays it didn't look like anything special.
But overall we had a great day! Apart from being sick, my camera is also being annoying. Some random black spot keeps appearing in half the photos. I have tried everything and can't decide whether to switch to my other camera or edit the spot when home. The camera with the spot takes much better photos than my underwater one. So please excuse the black spots!!!
We are about to go out for dinner and then have another overnight bus. I hope my stomach behaves itself!
