Hi all!
Not too much to report today. Last night we watched 'Braveheart' with Mel Gibson in it as I'd never seen it and no one on my Scottish tour could believe it! I quite enjoyed it and we had fun mocking their crap Scottish accents and poking holes in the plot and its inaccuracies.
Today I slept in until 10.30 and I've spent the day resting and getting organised. I checked all my train tickets which was lucky because a few of the tickets were missing! So I had to ring Virgin Trains. Brill customer service, reissued them for me. I also caught up on some shows and booked a few things. Am excited to announce that on the weekend of 17-18 October I'll be heading up to Liverpool to have a look around and do a Magical Mystery tour, and I've also booked to go to Latvia and Lithuania in the last week of October. The flights were so cheap I couldn't resist, and it'll be interesting to check out a part of the world I don't really know anything about!!
Headed off to the station to pick up my tickets later on and then went for a short walk through Glasgow Green to the People's Palace. It was sunny! Which was nice after the short downpour I had as I got to the station.
Now just relaxing again before heading out for dinner with Emma and Marc. Tomorrow I am off to Newcastle via bus!
