Hi all,
Today was incredible! We had a full day of beautiful sightseeing. Had some brekky and then headed off.
We drove firstly to the Trollstigen - Troll's Pass. This is a long, narrow and windy road with many hairpin bends! The scenery was stunning. Once we got to the top, we had a look at the lookout and took lots of photos. As soon as we were finished here the cloud closed in! The tourists after us wouldn't have seen anything.
Then we made our way to a car ferry and made it to the port for our fjord cruise of Geirangerfjord. Words really can't describe how beautiful everything was today so hopefully I can get the photos working again and you can see for yourself. The weather seemed a bit grim this morning but we were lucky enough to have the sun come out. When we came around the corner to go down another hairpin bend road down to the fjord it was incredible !!! Stood outside the whole fjord cruise and soaked in the scenery. Everything is like a postcard, it really is incredible! We were treated to rolling green hills, seven sisters waterfall and huge cliffs.
We ate our prepared lunch at a town after the cruise and then began our drive back. Stopped at a pretty cool boardwalk park with waterfalls on the way back.
Sorry there isn't much text today, but really most of it was all amazing scenery!
Tonight we are all going to watch Australia vs the Netherlands. Hope we don't get flogged by too much!
We set off for Steinkjer tmro on our way to the arctic circle.
