We played drinking games and cards again before going out. Last night we had dinner at the hotel. It was our last dinner together as a group. We gave Tom his presents (wine and a t-shirt with "crushin it" - the phrase we coined on this trip).
After dinner we went into town. Tom got a tattoo! We all went for moral support and cheered him on haha. He got a small sailboat on his ankle. Don't worry everyone, I didn't get one!!!
Then we went on another bar crawl. I told myself I'd have a quiet night out, so I made sure I didn't spend much money (10 euros for the whole night, half of which was a taxi!). But I still had fun. We went to some interesting bars. The first one had a giant Jenga game, I didn't join in but the others got it really high !!!! One was called Circus and they had live musicians on a tiny stage on The wall. They also did circus tricks. Then we went to another one called Slammers where for some reason when you do a shot they smack you over the head with something. I didn't partake in that one haha!!! I just laughed.
In the end we went to about 6 bars. My favourite part of the night was playing Thumpers on the dance floor. Yesterday Christie had introduced us to a drinking game called Thumpers. Long story short you pick an action (so mine was patting my nose for instance) and someone starts with their action and then makes someone else's action, then that next person has to go. Playing it mid dance floor was hilarious. People looked at us like we were from another planet. But it was fun!!!
Got some gyros at about 3.30am and then I decided to call it a night. The others stayed out but I was well and truly wrecked. Got a cab back to the hotel and went to sleep!
Now I'm sitting at the breakfast table with a few of the others. Seven of us leave back to Athens today and the others stay on. I can't believe how close this group has become in just 9 days. I feel like I've known them for years! Really going to miss everyone, but at least I can catch up with some of them easily once back at home :)
Tmro I am having brunch with Kirra, Caitlin and Milena. Then I head off to the airport to go to Stockholm! Kirra and Caitlin fly to Serbia half an hour before me so we are all training to the airport together.
So the solo adventure begins very soon. I'll write tomorrow night (so the morning of 5th June for those in Aus) once I'm by myself in Stockholm. I'm a little nervous being alone but now that I've settled in on this tour I think I'm going to be ok!
Sweden here I come!!!!
Love to all
Claire
