First of all some exciting news - a job interview next Monday morning Melbourne time! :)
So today I started to pack up. I took the day off because the primary school need me for three days next week and I had told myself I had three days of packing up/doing things I hadn't done. So today was pack up day!
I did surprisingly well. I've accumulated a lot this year but I used some of those vacuum bags that you suck the air out of and those worked great. I ended up fitting 3/4 of my dresser and 3/4 of my wardrobe in the case I'm sending home! Even fitted a coat on top and then some other stuff too. So all packed and all hating forms filled out ready for Thursday week!
I then got my souvenir bag down and repackaged everything to save space and save them getting broken. So many magnets - and that's just one of three bags!!
So basically packed up, cleaned and got as much ready as I could today. Then I went for a walk around the local park; Shoreditch Park. In the summer I used to enjoy going there and reading a book. Now it's dark by 4.30pm so today was my chance to go in daylight! It's just not the same now the weather is wet and grey though. Never mind!
Tonight I met Jamie down by Liverpool Street station and we had drinks with some of his work colleagues. They were all really lovely, but now I'm at the bus stop, it's nearly 9pm and I've not had dinner. My bus is nowhere in sight too :( Never mind.
