This morning on my way I discovered my hair is now long enough to properly braid - it has stayed in all day with NO bobby pins! It has fallen out all other times I've tried this year.... Woohoo!! Small things haha.
Today I taught year 2 in the morning. Assembly was all about some new games to play in the playground and went quite long, but the kids enjoyed it. When we got back to class we did a computing lesson which involved the children dragging certain musical instruments onto a musical timeline and making a song to some fireworks. They loved it and we made up actions for each instrument which was fun!
Then I was in year 6 helping one on one with literacy work. I love going between classes. I meet siblings of other children I've taught and get to know lots of the kids at school!!
In the afternoon I was in year 4 and helped with reading and then sorting out the work they had done.
It gets dark so early that it makes me feel as if I'm at school at about 8pm, very strange!! After school I went with Alisha and some other people from school to celebrate one of the staff member's birthdays. Had a drink and some chips and now I'm on the way home.
I'm so tired from not much sleep last night and need to be in my prime for upcoming job interviews! Lots of preparation to be done tmro. Mum - about to go through our old stomping ground, Earl's court! I just fell asleep on the tube - hope I don't miss my stop!
