Snorkelling and pool party

Hi all,

I'm writing a couple of days' worth at once. Yesterday morning I went for a walk around sunrise by myself while Rob slept. The rest of the day was mostly spent around our water villa, we did a fair bit of snorkelling and saw some really cool fish. We also played bingo by the pool (didn't win anything!). I then read my book whilst the sunset on our deck, and finished it. I rarely get a chance to read at home as I am so exhausted from work. I devoured this one in four days and really enjoyed it.

Last night there was a party on, but we decided to stay in and watch a movie, 'Where the Crawdads Sing' which we really enjoyed. We hadn't found the party on Wednesday much fun so gave it a miss.

Today we got a spot early by the pool as there was a Saturday pool party on. It was pretty fun, they had exhibitions on from the different sections of staff - entertainment, housekeeping, food, bar etc. Our favourite bartender Visham looked after us and filled our tumblers with pina colada again! He's lovely, we learned today he is from Mauritius but has transferred to this resort for two months.

The ocean was stunning today, I reckon it was the best weather we have had. The water was beautiful. We spent the afternoon post pool party hanging around our deck blobbing around in the ocean. I will miss this view when we leave in a few days.

Tonight there is a quiz on that I think we will probably go to. We are enjoying sunsets from our deck too, I hope you enjoy photos from the last two nights! I think of Nan often when on our deck. I remember in February asking her whether she thought it would be worth spending a couple of thousand more dollars to have a water villa as opposed to a beach room. "Go for it, you only live once". Here I am, Nan. I hope you can see the view.
