Town and beach

Hi everyone!

Two posts in one day today - aren't you all lucky!! Scroll down if you haven't read about yesterday and last night yet.

Today I got up at 9 and Caitlin, Kirra and I had our included brekky which was some stale bread, some croissants and an over boiled egg. But food nonetheless that saves me money!!

Then we met Kelsie at the bus stop and the four of us travelled into town. Our hotel is at Paradise Beach which is on the opposite side of the island to the main town, but the bus only takes about 10-15 mins. We walked around the lovely little alleyways and walkways and did some shopping. My magnet collection gained a new addition (I buy one in every city I go to, the fridge is getting really full..!) and I bought a nice necklace with sea coloured beads (blues, greens, aquas). I absolutely love the architecture here. And the brilliant cloudless sky today made it look all the more beautiful! We got a bit lost in town but eventually managed to find our way back to the bus stop after our lovely walk.

On the way back I started to feel a little dizzy and tired. I have surprised myself with how well I have done since I first got here. Friday night before I left I didn't sleep well because I was excited. On the plane I got about 6 hours sleep but it's never proper restful sleep on the plane. Then I got about 6 hours the night I arrived but woke up at 5.30am. Considering I'm jet lagged and haven't had much sleep I think I'm doing exceptionally well!!! But I felt it a bit on the bus. We stopped at a supermarket and bought some cheap bread and cheese for lunch to save some money. This was just what I needed, it was delicious and I felt heaps better!!

Headed back to the room and had a quick nap, then we all went to the beach. It was a lot warmer today! I had to go in the water straight away as I was too hot. We chatted for a while in the water and lay down for a bit. Had a conversation with a few other people who are going to the party tonight. It's a Ministry of Sound party. The Ministry of Sound remix lots of songs into club songs and make a collection of them every year. There'll be a few famous DJs there! Should be good.

We are going to a paint party beforehand though. Having only just arrived I have limited clothing. So I've chosen to wear a top I usually wear to the gym and wear my clubbing skirt inside out. I think we just have little patterns painted on our skin but I still reckon some will get on my clothes probably. Let's hope not much !!!

Tomorrow we leave in the morning to go to Paros. I'll post again in the morning (about 3pm Melbourne time) about how the parties were!!!

Having an absolute ball!!!
Love to all
Claire
