Hi all!
Today we left at 7.30am and got a five hour bus to Chiang Mai. On the way we watched two movies and I finished the hunger games 2 - yay!
Not too much to report today!!
We arrived about 12.30. Enjoyed a cheese sandwich and iced tea for lunch, then set off for the afternoon. Most of the others chilled at the hotel because it was quite hot and we are on the go so much, but Laura, James and I went exploring through town. We went to many temples that I can't remember the name of, but all were very ornate and sparkly with lots of jewels and Buddhas.
Laura wasn't feeling the best today, she's alright but I think because it's quite hot it exacerbated how sick she was feeling. She's having a lie down at the moment. But she did really well and managed to go to all the temples, and we had a sit down every now and then. James and I had a nice cream from 7/11 (actually, I had 2...oops!).
Tonight we are going to a lady boy show which should be...interesting! Hahaha. I'm posting this now as it goes quite late. Will post again in the morning. There will be no blog tomorrow night as we are on a sleeper train to Bangkok, but I promise at some point tomorrow, either morning or afternoon, I will post!!
