Just a quick post on a rest break back at our hotel. We have had a very busy day today so we are very tired!!
We got up at 7am and visited Sri mariammaman temple and Buddha tooth relive temple. Then had breakfast which doesn't start at our hostel until 8.30am - bit annoying :( oh well.
After that we caught the train to Bugis and toured around Arab Street, Haji lane etv where all the amazing cultural shops are. We went into Majid Sultan Mosque and then bought some things. I got a pashmina, a beautiful teapot and more. Guy bought a very nice wal piece - so proud of him for spending te money!
Headed to Little India where we had an incredible lunch. Pepper crab, chicken masala and various sides, with lime juice an banana lassa. All up cost us S$15!! We headed to the station via Arab street and I bought some flat shoes.
Next we toured the baba house. A beautiful old shop front house that has been restored by the national university of Singapore. Loved it!
Soon we are leaving to go to the Asian civilisations museum. Then off to dinner in satay street with guy's boss' brother in law who is going to give us some tips (he lives here).
